Please Dont Go.

This comming friday will be the two year anniversary of club Avenue. But sadly it will also be Avenues Grand Finale. It feels like it was just yesterday that I walked into ave for the first time. Ill never forget that night because it was also the night I got kicked out for the first time. I had been working with Mark Rodriguez of The Heist for quite a while doing giveaways and booths within his clubs when I met Steven Griffen ( Avenue ) I believe he was working with Mark at the time so he was around quite often he'd always stop by and check out what we had on our table and show love. I had heard of Avenue around the way, and on the web for a few months leading up to the first time I set foot in the door. I remeber always wanting to go, it seemed like such a rad place to be. The people were so good looking, The Atmoswhere looked amazing. Located in Riverside it felt like such a far place to go for a party, but I knew all I needed was a good excuse to go and i'd be there in a hot second. So when Steven approached me about going out Ave and setting up shop it was just the excuse I needed to make the drive out to Riverside.

That night I showed up early. Even before Steve and the crew got there I remember thinking to myself " Is this it? It looks dead" Little did I know I was in for one of the funnest parties around. Our intern at the time was a guy by the name of Patt. He came out that night to help setup and to work the booth ( while I partied ) haha. We figured we'd kill some time for a bit so we walked the mean streets of riverside for about an hour until someone finally showed up. Almost got beat up by some cholos, grabbed a drink at cofee bean and shot the shit till the night began. We walked back to the club and a little toyota matrix rolled up with the other two members of the crew Tim ( http://www.fuzzysack.com ) and Val. They greeted us and showed us in. I remember being so stoked walking into the door because this place was a little differnt from most of my normal nightly hangouts. Tim and Val were so amazing to me that night. They showed me around, helped me find a place to setup, and made sure I had everything I needed to do what I was there for. As the night progressed and people began to roll in the door I was amazed at the look that this club had. Just about every girl who walked in the door looked amazing. And the dudes were dressed accordingly. Steven being the awesome host that he is shot a few drink tickets my way and my night began. Going drink for drink with my friends, having some great laughs, meeting some awesome people. The night was intense. Poor Pat the intern was looking a little bummed at the booth so I tried to slip him a drink. And at that very moment I had the pleasure of meeting Avenue secruity. We were escorted out and ended up stuck behind a metal barracade feeling like some underagers trying to sneak in. Steve did all he could to get us back in but security wasnt having it.

I left that night a little ashamed but but still in a good mood sporting a smile because I knew it would be a memorable night. Avenue that night wasnt about selling t-shirts or making connections. Avenue was about fun. It was about being with your friends, letting loose, and forgetting about the stress and responsibility that comes with adulthood. Many visits to Ave followed and like fine wine our experience there only got better with age.

With ALL that said. Avenue we love you. We will miss you. Please dont go :'( We will forever hold dear to us the friendships we made and the times we had.

And to Tim, Val, & Steve. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of Ave don't be strangers. We wish you well in all your future endevors & can't wait to see whats comming next from the three of you.

Avenue we want you to know.

Matinee

Hey Vaps,

When our friends over at 1107 events asked us to be a part of Matinee we jumped at the chance. This event goes down at the FOX theatre in Pomona CA. If youre not firmiliar with the fox it once was an old run down theatre smack in the middle of a downtown area arts distirct. It sat empty for years until it was recently restored. The FOX has now become a landmark of Los Angeles County and is known to bring out some of the biggest bands and sell out some purrty amazing shows. Matinee is sure to be a hit so be sure to come out and party with us tonight, get your drink on, and just have some fun.

Cant wait to see you all there.

We Are Vapors & Hyphy crunk

Hey Vaps,

This Thursday Ocotober 1, we will be releasing our (un) official collaboration with our good friend DJ Hyphy Crunk. This project has been in the works for quite sometime and were really excited about the drop.
This release is set to coincide with his debut EP entitled"Space Traveler" We were involved with the artwork and layout of this special project so we figured it would only be right to release our collaboration along side it.

DJ Hyphy Crunk is a staple in the Hollywood nightlife scene and has been a huge part of what we are doing. We'd like to thank him for all of his support and wish him luck on all his future endevors.

We would also like to personally invite EVERYONE out to the release party. It is sure to be a huge event full of giveaways, special guests, and great fun.
Cant wait to see you all there.
